During the EALAN conference opening ceremony,  the EALAN chair  Prof Masharabu welcomed every one and wishes every a very good conference. “It is my pressure to welcome you in this important conference. Thank you EALAN member for electing university of Burundi to chair the EALAN. Land and natural resources are critical resources when land is not well managed, it is our contribution to the society to avoid these kind of conflicts” he said We have three Universities to start bachelor in land administration and management which are University of Burundi, Universite Evangelique en Afrique, and university of Juba and for masters programs we have University of Rwanda, Makerere University and Technical university of Kenya .

Vice Chancellor of ARDHI University, Prof Evaristo Liwa in his opening remarks thanked the participants and organizing commetee for the importnat event which is taking place. He also thanked the partners and sponsors to make this happen.  “We will adopt what will come from this conference.” he said  “This conference is a good platform to you to share knowledge and experience” he added. Our vision is to have society where land is well governed.
